Hello, I'm Kiersten and I am the owner and artist behind Floral + Sage. I grew up in a tiny mountain-town in the Sierra Nevadas in Northern California. Since I was young, I have always been in touch with nature and design and not to mention, flower obsessed.

The beginning of 2020 I set a goal/intention to create a small business. I always had the excuse of being "too busy" or "not having time" to actually do it. During quarantine I allowed myself the time to do things I normally don't have "time" for like creating art, and meditation. After losing my father to cancer, I even more-so leaned into the things that brought me joy. Pressing flowers gave me the opportunity to spend time with myself, my thoughts and my feelings and cope with everything the year had thrown my way. I went ahead and ripped the band-aid and officially launched my small business mid-June 2020! I started by selling pre-made pressed flower designs I created, and shifted my business to focus on bridal and event bouqyet preservation in Summer 2022.

For me, pressing flowers is a way to preserve the beauty of florals without having a bouquet go to waste. I absolutely love creating, arranging, designing, playing with color themes, and getting the chance to share that with people. I am so grateful for my amazing customers that drive my vision forward.
